Phantom Pain (Kid Dakota)

Phantom Pain
Hoy hace un poquito más de un año que descubrí este grupo estadounidense de rock indie procedente de Mineápolis (Minesota) en Dresde. Esta canción me parece tan bonita como ñoña por eso la comparto.

They will never know about our secrets
Cause all our plans were written in the dirt
Wash them all away with bottled water

Wash them all away but they still hurt

I will miss you more than fire
Misses the air when it expires

And suffocates from a lack
Oh, a lack of oxygen

Are you standing at the drugstore counter?

Or are you on a... bus that's going by?
Can I hear you walking close behind me?
Listen to the crows as they take flight

And I will miss you like an arm
That's been removed but when it's gone
I can still, still feel the pain
Oh, just like you were there

I will miss you more than fire

Misses the air when it expires

And suffocates from a lack

Oh, a lack of oxygen
A lack of oxygen

Oh, listen to the crows as they take flight
Oh, listen to the crows as they take flight

Oh, listen to the crows as they take flight
Oh, listen to the crows as they take flight
